College encourages students to participate in various
cultural activities . cultural activities
refer to the things you do after work
that impose you to life and culture. Culture activities includes dance, drams ,
music, sports, NSS, NCC various competition like painting, cooking, art and
culture etc. Participation in camps , likes sports seminars and workshop all
comes under cultural activities.
Like NSS NCC types of activities make students aware of
various problems faced by the society. It encourages them to work in groups so
that they can fulfill their duties faithfully, truthfully and honestly. NSS
programs includes various community development programs like special camps,
plays, AIDS awareness, fund collection, pulse polio etc. also these kind of
cultural activities helps in identifying
the hidden talent among the students. Everyone is in his/her college life has
participated in cultural activities. Self exploration leads to self
improvement.
Keeping in mind the differing perspectives of today’s world and an
overall development of the students, the college introduces various activities
based on the essentials of personality development and individual excellence.
The various extra curricular activities provides opportunities to the students
to bring forth foster and enhance their varied abilities. The aim is not to
create a self engrossed individual but to develop a spirit of team work and
respect for the abilities of fellow students. In college life these cultural
activities adds the spice. Students enjoy participating in these activities.
Cultural activities reduces the tensions of studies and unites the people,
bring different groups together, helps in personality development in boosting
our self confidence.
Student life within the college is rich and a wide range
of activities are present to identify the talents of students. Students clubs
are of great importance as they are the main conductors of cultural activities.
The social life within the college is gradually increasing with the increase in
students clubs and the involvement of students within the clubs. In our college
we participated in different extra curricular activities which have a number of
values like educational value, psychological value, social value, civic value,
physical development value, recreational value and the cultural value. College
life is just incomplete without these cultural activities.
